Jane Huk joined Project 2021 in January 2017 as Director of the Research and Measurement (RAM) Unit. This team is responsible for enabling Project 2021’s strategic use of data to improve undergraduate education at UT Austin. To this end, the RAM team is systematically collecting and analyzing quantitative metrics that will guide the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of policies, courses, degree plans, instructional methods, and programming.
Huk came to UT Austin in 2004 as faculty in the Department of Psychology. She then entered the private sector, managing data analytics initiatives for a wide range of industries. She returned to UT, and most recently headed Data Reporting and Analysis for the College of Natural Sciences before coming to Project 2021.
Huk earned her undergraduate degree in psychology at Southern Methodist University, and her Ph.D. in psychology from Stanford University.
